V-Coptr – two propellers instead of four

V-Coptr is the new drone launched by Zero Zero Robotics in pre-order. It is an innovative drone, with interesting features, at least on paper, capable of flying for 50 minutes. Let’s see it in detail.

Two propellers – less energy

As already mentioned, the peculiarity of this drone is that the flight is ensured by two propellers, characterized by an ‘adaptive’ tilt capable of providing the necessary stability and agility.

The design with two propellers is certainly in favor of reducing battery consumption, and in favor of flight time. However, the complex system of gears, as shown in the video, is against the linearity and simplicity of the mechanism, thus introducing potential critical points in a vital and complex system such as propellers.

Precisely for the flight time similar to that of professional drones, the V-Coptr twin propeller drone presents itself both as a valid antagonist of the DJI Mavic and several other leisure drones.
